Made by simmering onions, garlic, red pepper, tomatoes and eggs, this is one of those rare something-to-fall-back-on recipes that you’ll probably find yourself coming back to time and time again.
Shakshuka roughly translates as ‘a mixture’, and there are many variations of the same recipe, contributing to a large part of its universal appeal.
We added cannelleni beans to this recipe, but you can also add feta, goat cheese, or even butternut squash or Brussel sprouts, according to some recipes.
