Sometimes... putting your feet up and watching TV is the best thing you can do! For yourself, and for your health.
TV has a bad rep, but as a form of escapism and distraction, it can serve us well in these modern stressful times. For many of us, watching TV is the only thing that makes us sit down and put our feet up. Without it, the temptation is to keep doing or, worse still, become engrossed in our phones, or work.
As with anything, moderation is key, and as a means to switching off, there has to be something to be said for a bit of sofa surfing! With so many health-related TV programmes on our screens, we can often learn a thing or two in the process, helping negate any of the adverse effects of so-called screen time.
