Strawberry & dark chocolate wholemeal biscuits

Ingredients
 

 
150g wholemeal flour
 

 
75g brown sugar
 

 
1 egg
 

 
75g butter
 

 
50g dark chocolate chips
 

 
4g freeze dried strawberries
 

 
Method
 

Melt the butter in a pan

Add the wholemeal flour and sugar to a large bowl, then mix in the egg and melted butter
 

 

 
Fold in the chocolate chips and freeze dried strawberries
 

 

 
Bring the dough together with your hands and need briefly (add more flour if required).
 

 

 
Place the dough onto a floured surface and roll until approx 5mm thick.
 

 

 
Cut into hear shapes and place onto a greaseproof paper lined baking sheet.
 

 

 
Bake for 12 minutes or until golden brown.

Decorate as desired.
