Today, thousands of people across the UK have been taking up a variety of challenges with the aim of raising money for Sport Relief.
Sport Relief is an annual initiative, airing tonight at 7pm on BBC One, which works to support vital projects in the UK and around the world that help vulnerable people of all ages. The organisatons that benefit from their support are those that are typically working to tackle issues relating to mental health, child poverty, domestic abuse and helping people have a safe place to live.
As such, Sport Relief's investments can make a big difference where it matters most, making it all the more important that we all continue to support their efforts by spreading awareness and raising vital funds where possible.
This could mean raising money by taking on a new challenge, sporting a campaign t shirt (at least 50% of the profits go to Sport Relief) or simply making a donation at https://donation.sportrelief.com.
One of the advantages of taking on a fitness challenge, is that is forces a shift outside of our comfort zones, casting a line to try something new which might then spark off a new interest, new connections and new opportunities.
In aid of Sport Relief, we’ve joined forces with Genesis Gym to take on some of social media’s most trending challenges.
