'Finding your 'hero products' can play a significant role in facilitating self-care'

It would be easy to convince ourselves that beauty products are merely superficial, but to do so would certainly be a discredit to the huge sense of wellbeing that certain so-called ‘hero products’ - in particular- can offer.

Whether by bolstering skin confidence and comfort, or by offering some therapeutic effects, these products can have a significant role to play in self-care.

Having stumbled upon a good number of these ‘game-changer’ products in recent weeks, we thought we’d utilise the #selfcaresunday platform to let you in on some of these finds.

These are the products that, in our opinion, are the ones to beat, both in terms of time saving...and efficacy. There’s no ads, just happy customers!

Of course, every skin type is unique, so experiences may vary, but we felt the consensus on these products at Health Magazine HQ was too good to keep to ourselves.

Product description: ‘Wild Rose Beauty Balm is an antioxidant-rich, organic wild rosehip oil and a balancing blend of organic geranium and patchouli essential oils which nourishes skin and enhances your skin’s radiance, for a natural glow.

Our opinion: ‘This balm is the ultimate multipurpose beauty product, first and foremost working as a softener for lips and fine lines, and secondly working as a cleanser when used with the accompanying wash cloth. Lastly, it acts as a highlighter when used as a finishing touch after make up. Add to this amazing multifunctionality, the fact it smells like a summer’s day in a botanical garden, and there’s no wonder this product has made it onto our hero list!’

Tune in next Sunday for more #selfcaresunday product introductions...
