At the best of times, there’s often very little persuasion needed in a doughnut buying decision...and even less so on National Doughnut Week. After all, far be it for anyone to deny themselves the odd indulgence, especially when it also pays forward to a good cause. National Doughnut Week is a very special week where businesses including bakers, coffee shops, offices and educational establishments take selldoughnuts to raise funds for The Children’s Trust. The Children’s Trust provides rehabilitation to children and young people with acquired brain injury at their national specialist centre in Surrey, helping them make the best recovery possible after a serious incident or illness. The charity is also home to an expert multidisciplinary team who offer a nationwide community service that supports children and young people with acquired brain injury following an accident of illness. We found our doughnuts at Burgers in Marlow, but you can go online to find your local supporting cafe or coffee shop: http://nationaldoughnutweek.org/the-childrens-trust.html
