BEAUTY REVIEW: The Ordinary Serum Foundation

So, we’re back with another #selfcaresunday hero product recommendation.

Now, it’s not very often that a makeup product makes the cut on here, given we’re usually all about the canvas and not the paint, BUT... this product stood out as being different. Extraordinary even... which is ironic given the name!!

Considering the importance of skin confidence in the bigger picture of wellbeing, and specifically of make up in providing this leverage, there is perhaps more value to these ‘superficial’ products than their basic application might suggest.

When used to enhance...and not disguise as is perhaps often the case, makeup can be a powerful tool for confidence, and all the benefits that can potentially ensue.

This in mind, here’s introducing our first ‘game changer’ make up product: .

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

‘This lightweight, medium coverage serum is crafted from colour pigments suspended in The Ordinary’s proprietary ‘spreadability system’. This unique formulation allows the pigments to look natural on the skin, stay on for longer and resist collecting within lines.’

OUR OPINION:

‘Unlike a lot of foundations which are thick and heavy when dispensed, this one is more like a fluid liquid...meaning a little goes a long way, and it boasts just the kind of ‘glide’ you need when looking to create a subtle, barely-there makeup finish. As an added bonus, Deciem as a brand is also free from sulphates and parabens, and is not tested on animals.’
