Pooling together...for the ultimate summer getaway!

It goes without saying, that water is where much of the joy of a family holiday is at.

The pool. The sea. Back to the pool. The routine is as predictable as it is novel, and guaranteed never to go out of popularity if my trusty 'poolkit' has anything to do with it.

Within the 'poolkit', costumes, goggles and floaties go without saying, and this year, stocking up on all these items in advance was made infinitely easier by Splash About's one-stop swim shop. This year, the most popular (and useful) items from my holiday haul were the adult and kids goggles, the pufferfish pool balls, the kids swim shorts (in bright green - great for underwater visibility), the girl's tie dye costume, the men's swim shorts and last but not least... the ladies' swimming costume (pictured main image).

As a collective, these items ensured maximum comfort, confidence and fun, whether we happened to be on the beach, on a pedalo or by the pool. It was an ease and enjoyment that offered a convincing case not just for my so-called 'poolkit', but for the enduring therapeutic power of...the 'quick dip'!
