If you’re partial to throwing some fresh herbs into your Friday night Stroganoff (aren’t we all!) but can never find a use for the rest of that parsley pack... you’re not alone!
Half the time, however, the excess ends up being pushed to the back of the fridge ‘for later’, and then predictably forgotten!!
Thanks to this simple hack, though, it’s possible the spare the waste and guilt of having to bin out of date herbs.
Simply chop and freeze them in an ice cube tray in olive oil, and you have a stock of fresh herbs on demand! Simply drop one cube into a hot pan for a handy shortcut to perfectly seasoned dishes, OR thaw them out to use in salad dressings as needed.
So there you have it... the low waste solution to high taste meals in a hurry! #yourewelcome
