Behind the scenes with 'Screen-Free Teen' Magazine

It's been a busy week of Q&As for Screen-Free Teen Magazine, beginning with Evie and Grace's sit-down with Tom Kerridge at the renowned Butcher's Tap in Marlow, and finishing with Matilda from year 9 at Newlands School interviewing local MP Joshua reynolds.

Screen-Free Teen is a new title which I’m proud to be Editing and producing alongside Health Magazine. It has been developed as an antidote to youth screen culture, and is a driving force for the local Smartphone-free Childhood movement.

During today's interview, Matilda quizzed Joshua on a range of topics including the recent social media ban, smart phones in schools, changing attitudes and expectations around screen usage and also how the local town could be more geared towards creating offline social spaces for young people.

This was a fantastic interview led by Matilda with confidence, curiosity, humour and wisdom beyond her years.

The full interview will feature in the December issue of Screen Free Teen Magazine, more details on which can be found at www.screenfreeteenmagazine.com
