Go for a walk, they said. It’ll be fun, they said!

As a prescription for health, happiness and everything in between, walking in nature takes some beating. Even so, none of that detracts from the reality of…. THIS!!


Mud, glorious mud!


Granted, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, and especially when the toss up is between trail and, well… a cup of tea!!


That said, what welly walks lack in in-the-moment appeal, they MORE than make up for in next-day rewards!


As the saying goes…‘do something today, that the ‘TOMORROW YOU’ will thank you for!


Alas, ‘Tuesday Me’… this one’s for you!!


We’re mindful of course, that ‘tomorrow’ is used fairly loosely here.


Reality is, we can’t necessarily pinpoint when, exactly, we’ll feel gratitude for those small pockets of action, spontaneity, forethought and planning, that punctuate the today!

All we need to know, is that whether it’s mustering up the might for a muddy walk, dedicating the time to some batch-cooking, or taking five to tidy up at the end of each day… the pay-off from ‘micro habits’ is on a promise.


That, we’ve concluded, is probably persuasion enough (if ever we needed it) to shelve the TV n’ tea (for now!), grab the wellies…and GET STUCK IN! #naturegram 🌲 🍃 🥾
