The first few months of the year have a reputation for being the ones where everything goes swimmingly!
Where all of the ducks (the job ‘duck’ / the lifestyle ‘duck’ / the mindset ‘duck’) finally come into a row.
The reality… on the other hand, feels more like ‘swan life’ - but not quite as elegant!
With undercurrents of uncertainty and upheaval currently prevailing, the challenge of keeping afloat, balanced with the perpetual search for crumbs of self care, is anything but surprising.
The message, therefore, is to not be fooled by the visions of cool, calm, collectedness foregrounded in the media!
Beneath the surface (of socials especially), we’re mostly all kicking like crazy, and attempting to make it look majestic!!
