Setting the scene, for a summer slumber…

Changing the bed is a much maligned task, but the older I get, the more I appreciate how important it is not to bemoan the mundanity of ‘life admin’ such as this.
Not least, because modern wisdom warns us that boredom is a dying art (the dull moments bring the opposite into sharper focus) but also, because there’s something appealing about doing the hard things, that you’ll thank yourself for later.
Making the bed is one of these things, as the effort is predicated on the feel-good moment of snuggling up, come 10pm. Against this foresight, excitement if a fair trade-off.
Granted, fresh sheets wouldn’t feature in the average ‘toolkit of excitement’, but as a self-confessed ‘home bod’ with a penchant for sleep…I’d beg to differ (especially when the sheets in question are Lost Loom’s finest.)
Lost Loom bedding is crafted from 100% bamboo fibres, making it naturally soft, breathable and temperature-regulating. The Bamboo Duvet Cover also features a classic design and inner corner ties for a secure fit, preventing your duvet from shifting while you sleep.

For summer-ready bedrooms, this silky-soft bedding trumps the cotton equivalent in feel, performance and aesthetics, and more importantly, it holds a mirror to the minimalist, less-is-more summer lifestyle goals which ironically, currenly extend to everything except sleep.
