SOLE FITNESS: What pressure running alleviates from the mind, can often be felt in the feet & joints

Updated: Feb 28, 2022

We’ve all heard of soul food - the kind of cuisine that transcends nutrition and hunger, to satisfy some deeper, can’t-put-your-finger-on-it need!

Well, who knew the same abstract appeal could be extended to FITNESS, and goes some way to explaining why some sports and activities hold such things perennial appeal, especially in times of stress and overwhelm?

The irony of many forms of sole fitness, however, is that what pressure they alleviate from the mind, they often re-divert to our unsuspecting feet and joints!

This undue pressure on the feet, especially, is something of a talking point this National Feet Awareness Week.

Thankfully, there’s FootActive Sports Insoles to help bear some of the brunt of our pavement-pounding therapy this spring.

These High-Impact, full-length Advanced Orthotic Arch-Support Insoles are designed for maximum comfort and shock absorption, to help prevent injuries such as knee pain, back pain and shin splints during sport and leisure.

Podiatrist and Physiotherapist recommended, they feature PU+ Gel base cushioning to the heel and forefoot and anti-pronation Biomechanical Reinforcement Technology (BRT).

With all these benefits, the freedom is ours to run, jump, dance, and do whatever it is that feeds joy into movement…and a spring into our step this season!
