Spring skincare… under the spotlight!

In the last month, the change of seasons seems to have thrown my once-trusty skincare routine a curveball…
I’m blaming the weather, for ease’s sake, but there is also a very real possibility, that these shifting-skincare needs might owe to age… more than the season.
What this realisation pointed towards, was the need for a ‘skincare overhaul’ both in terms of the day-to-day products I was using, and the always-rushing way that I was using them.
After all, skincare is not just about comfort and confidence.
It’s also an opportunity to slow down and reflect.
To practice re-appraising a changing reflection more positively, and to recognise that the rewards of so doing, are greater than any skincare ‘trend’ can offer.
By switching to Manuka Doctor skincare products (which are made with sustainable and genuine Manuka honey, certified by the New Zealand Government), the ‘bad skin days’ have become fewer and further between, and all the issues arising from rushing though my morning and evening routines (namely, the feeling of being an afterthought in a rat-race of my own making) have made way for something more mindful, with positive ripple effects beyond the realms of cleansing, toning, moisturising.
