‘Totes’ ready for anything!

Updated: Jun 16, 2023

If you ask me, a holiday just isn’t a holiday without a jaunt or two, the likes of which provide a precious foray into the wonderful world of ‘tourist mode.’

It might be the local beach, the nearest town or maybe a much coveted cultural hotspot, but there’s one thing all these expeditions have in common… and that’s the everything-but-the-kitchen-sink tote bag that is never not along for the ride!

Sun block, snacks, shades… all manner of soothing balms, from the sting relief gel...to the sniffle solutions that little ones (and grown ups) prone to airborne allergies always tend to find a need for, at the most inconvenient and unexpected of times.

When enjoying the sight of all those glorious hotel botanicals, for example, or when happening to cross paths with the resort's friendly (but definitely not domestic) cat!

For this purpose, HayMax has become one of my trustiest beach/day trip bag essentials... closely followed by the plasters, of course, which every mum knows better than to go anywhere without.

HayMax is a natural, organic and drug free allergen barrier balm (sometimes referred to as a nasal balm) made from a blend of beeswax and seed oils. It is applied to the rim of the nostrils, and can also be used on the eye sockets to reduce dust and pet allergens and trap more than a third of pollen from entering the body.

Having long believed in the superiority of simple, especially when it comes to health hacks, it took little persuasion for this cleverly-coined natural remedy to become a staple of my 'summer sos kit' - the reassurance of which alone, means being able to breathe just that little bit easier!
