Let’s face it, cereal and toast on repeat can sometimes wear a bit thin. This is especially the case right now, when we’re all needing the lure of something a little more exciting, to help get us out of bed in the mornings.
What that lure is, for today at least, is Turmeric French Toast with Pineapple!
This sweet, spicy delight is - quite frankly - summer on a plate, and the perfect way to celebrate National Toast Day, or any day for that matter!
For best results, whisk 3 eggs with a dash of milk,1tsp turmeric and 1/2 tsp cinnamon, then soak slices of Gradz Amaranth Sourdough Bread in the mix, before frying in a hot buttered pan. Serve with fresh pineapple, mixed seeds and maple syrup!
