Vegan Prosecco? Don’t mind if I do!

Updated: Jan 14, 2023

It’s a skill that is never better honed than in November, when the tone is set for slowness and self-care, in equal measure.

What this looks like might differ from one person to the next, but for me, it’s a cheese board and a glass of something sparkling and chilled, that perfectly encapsulates the ‘me time’ mood.

Dolce Far Niente (The Sweetness of Doing Nothing) - it’s what such scaled-back solace is often so called, and given the authentic Italian roots of my drink of choice…it’s an expression that has never been more fitting.

The ‘power pair’ that is Prosecco and ‘picky bits’ has universal appeal… and on National Vegan Day, it’s a duo that can finally speak as well, to those who prefer their peace and quiet… plant-based.

Yes….Vegan Prosecco is having a moment, and it’s not just because Alberto Nani - the muse behind the movement - just so happens to boast such a delicious, crisp and refreshing mineral flavour!

Crafted from Glera grapes - which are grown in the mineral-rich clay soil of Italy’s famous Prosecco region - Alberto Nani produce their award-winning Prosecco without pesticides, insecticides and herbicides.

By helping preserve the region’s eco-system for future generations, Alberto Nani has naturally become the thinking Prosecco-drinkers choice, with these impressive eco credentials just one of the reasons why Dolce Far Niente, has never tasted so sweet.
