Christmas has arrived somewhat earlier this year, and despite being premature by previous year’s standards, the festive cheer could not be more welcome!
Both as a respite from the relative bleakness of everything else, and a beacon for more positive times ahead, we’re united in saying.... BRING IT ON!
The food, the fun...and the festive jumpers to boot! Anything to inject some cheer, warmth and positivity into the days and weeks ahead!
Granted, Christmas might not have always had the best reputation in terms of it’s health-giving potential. However, this year, even the Nutrition police are probably inclined to turn a blind eye to the Quality-Street-Fest that’s to come!
A recipe for five-a-day, Christmas may not be, but what it is is a catalyst for togetherness (🤞), cosying up, generosity, camaraderie and relaxation, which both individually and as a collective, can have significant benefits for wellbeing.
So, if ever there was a bandwagon that it pays to jump on right now... CHRISTMAS IS IT!
Turn up the tunes, put up the decs, dig out the Christmas Jumper and hot foot it to Marks & Spencer if Santa Yumnuts are your jam, relishing all the while that wholesome elixir of festiveness on which our *by-now depleted* joy reserves are well and truly banking!
