April? Already…?

I probably say it every year, but April has appeared out of nowhere, seemingly erasing the first three months of the year in the process!

It’s a cliche to say ‘it’s been a blur’, but also not far from the truth, as the age-old excuse of ‘a lot going on’ has without doubt robbed 2025-so-far of all definition.

In gathering pace with studying and book-related things, there’s been little opportunity to sit back and admire the view. However, I’m trying to reconcile this as no great loss, really, given winter’s relatively bleak backdrop.

As well, with the study schedule now paused for two weeks, there’s a window of opportunity for less ‘doing’… more ‘being.’

More low and slow… less all-systems go!

The downshift gives April a fighting chance of having something to show for itself. Of gaining enough substance, so as not to completely melt into May without trace.

Here’s hoping.
