Getting cold feet…!

They say with cold feet comes a warm heart, but that’s a small consolation for those saddled with the perpetual problem of ALWAYS having to wear socks, even in the height of summer.
Around the house, in particular, sock-wearing has become a non-negotiable, but years of battling this affliction has afforded enough insight to know that not any-old-socks will do.
Instead, cold feet caused by Raynaud’s Syndrome demand that the size, fit and fabric of socks be optimised in order to maintain circulation and comfort.
For this purpose, I’ve found the ‘Roam’ ankle sock by Hip Swan to outperform all other forms of hosiery. They are designed with luxurious, breathable organic combed cotton (GOTS certified) and each pair is stitched with a high-gauge needle count, which makes them supremely soft and long lasting. In addition, a compression arch further enhances support, while the seamless toe and cushioned heel and sole ensures maximum comfort.
As an added incentive, Hip Swan plant a tree for every order, which means that my sock-drawer overhaul might have made great strides in lowering that all-important ‘footprint’, as it has in self-care.
