The New 'Eating Out': When lunch break meets 'ecotherapy'

Well it’s not what it used to be, that’s for sure, but this new form of ‘eating out’ is in many ways challenging the once ideal of sitting at a restaurant or cafe table, devoid of the kind of fieldscape views that dining outside the home has since come to represent.

A sandwich in a field might not have the same appeal in many regards, but what it does offer, in return, is a dining experience like no other. One which combines all the best bits of a lunch break (time out, nutrition and good company) with a hearty dose of ‘ecotherapy’ for good measure.

This is arguably, some would say, eating out at its best. No formalities. No painstaking wait for your food. And full permission to lie down when you’ve finished!
